We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that uses simple math, writing and reading aloud exercises as an intervention to improve cognitive function in those with Alzheimer's Disease (AD). Our club directly organizes and allows volunteers to go out into Roger’s Park to provide comfort and companionship to elderly experiencing a life-changing disease. Through providing Loyola students access to volunteering, we encourage intergenerational collaboration between university students and elders within Roger’s Park community.

Members will be registered on luccommunity so that our Volunteer Coordinators can approve their volunteer hours. The Honors Student Government (HSG) serves as the representative body of Honors students and as a central liaison between students, faculty, and program leadership. The purpose of the Club is to develop our peers’ understanding of philosophy, exceeding or in conjunction with required courses offered at Loyola University Chicago. This includes learning about the different schools of thought (e.g. Epicureanism, Cynicism, Stoicism, Skepticism, Existentialism), but also more general subjects which relate to philosophical inquiry.

Our primary objective is to offer an educational experience to Loyola students who are considering a career in consulting. RCG prioritizes advancing students' skills through case preparation practice so they can confidently navigate interviews and internships. At RCG, we recognize the value of exposure to real-life cases. Our associates gain hands-on experience solving business problems by working with clients. RCG is eager to take advantage of any opportunity thrown its way, and it is currently best prepared to help small to mid-sized companies in the Chicago area with projects including, but not limited to, growth and operations.

Students have the ability to benefit by developing in the following focus areas:

Case Prep: RCG case preparation includes a weekly class that will help members dip their toes into consulting culture. This will help you learn what consulting is all about and guide you through the application process for internships and full-time positions. RCG's case preparation activities will include weekly instruction by partners/associates, weekly cases, and professional panels.

Consulting: To join the consulting side of RCG you must apply and go through an interview process. You will get the opportunity to help the Rogers Park/Edgewater community and corporations of Chicago by stepping in where large and boutique firms cannot deliver in terms of pricing and student/faculty collaboration. Associates and partners will be given paid work as we receive it.

Research: RCG strives to stay up-to-date with industry standards and news and this includes conducting research either on behalf of the client or based on Associate interest. Our associates that are not currently working on a case spend time conducting their own secondary research. All research can be found under our Insights tab.

What began as a class officially became a student organization in the spring semester of 2015. With over $1.5 Million in assets under management, RIF provides a unique, experiential approach to exploring a career or personal interest in finance. The fund also strives to regularly provide networking opportunities with business professionals from all over the Chicagoland area.

Executive Board members receive a one-time payment at the end of each academic semester of participation.

A. Each Executive Board Member receives a scholarship each semester with the following amounts:
1. The RHA President receives a scholarship of $750 each semester.
2. The RHA Vice President, Director of Finance, Director of Programming, Director of Internal Affairs, and Director of External Affairs receives a scholarship of $500 each semester.
3. The Resident Assistant Liaison does not receive an RHA scholarship.

Loyola’s Student Trial Advocacy program strives to cultivate critical thinking, public speaking, and legal reasoning by teaching students how to craft compelling arguments, master the rules of evidence, and collaborate in small, tight-knit teams.

Loyola’s Student Trial Advocacy teams will teach you the benefits and skills of both trial advocacy and appellate advocacy while also allowing you to travel across the country to compete against some of the best collegiate mock trial and moot court programs. In Mock Trial, you can learn the basics of the rules of evidence and civil procedure in order to advance your client’s case. In moot court, you learn how to read Supreme Court cases and extrapolate arguments to advocate on behalf of your client in an appellate court. Moot court students also learn how to draft and revise an appellate brief to be submitted in a national competition. Both programs are nationally ranked, and by joining our teams, you’ll learn the benefits of competition and collaboration.
