CSA Soup Kitchen

Every Tuesday and Friday, a welcoming group of Loyola students volunteer at the St. Thomas of Canterbury Soup Kitchen to prepare and serve a meal. Meet us at 3:30 in CSA (Damen Student Center 232) with your U-Pass and proper dress code for working in a kitchen. Read details about the dress code on our website before coming. You can expect to be back on campus around 7:30pm. You do not need to sign up in advance, simply show up. This event is first-come-first-serve and there are limited spots. We hope to see you there!   

To travel to this service opportunity we will be using public transit please bring your U-Pass or be prepared to pay. We do not send volunteers on days that classes are not in session/breaks. 

If you are looking to use the Soup Kitchen to fulfill any kind of required service hours, you must first contact CSA at serve@luc.edu and meet with the CSA Coordinator before beginning your service hours. Volunteers must obtain the signature of the CSA Coordinator before fulfilling service hours at the soup kitchen. Please read the full policy here.
