IFTJ – November 14-17, 2025 – Washington, DC
(Note, some materials list the start as November 15. The Loyola delegation will leave on November 14.)
The annual IFTJ gathers members of the Ignatian Family in solidarity to learn, reflect, pray, network, and advocate in the context of social justice. Participants from Jesuit schools, parishes, and social ministries are empowered, re-energized, inspired, challenged, and supported by a community that sees faith and justice integrally linked. After learning about justice issues and connecting them to Catholic Social Tradition, IFTJ participants engage in advocacy on Capitol Hill to affirm justice in policy and practice.
In 2025, the advocacy issues we will focus on are:
Humane Migration Reform (immigration justice)
Care for Creation (environmental justice)
Delegates will gain experience in legislative advocacy through preparation sessions on campus before the IFTJ and through booking meetings with Congress in Washington, DC. Delegates will also hear amazing speakers like Fr. Greg Boyle and attend workshops put on by peers.
Apply now! Full details like meeting dates, costs, and more are on the application. www.luc.edu/iftj
